Native Pacific Health Fair

The Native Pacific Health Festival is a celebration of health and wellness through Native Hawaiian/other Pacific Islander cultures. It is meant as an outreach initiative intended to inform students about health issues and health opportunities, especially that affects the native peoples of Hawai'i and the Pacific. There will be free: - FOOD samples - Health screenings - Health fliers and materials - Guest speaker talks - Info about various health programs - Cultural crafts and activities - Prizes and giveaways Everyone is invited and encouraged to come. Come join the Native Pacific Health Festival co-sponsored by the Native Health Organization (NHO) and the Campus Center Board Activities Council (CCB-AC).

Aquarium After Dark

Discover if fish sleep, sea snails snooze or weedy seadragons doze on an after-dark flashlight tour of the Aquarium exhibits. Minimum age 5 years; youngsters must be accompanied by an adult. $10/adult, $7/child ($14/$10 for non-members).

East-West Center Holiday Craft Fair 2009

In front of East-West Center's John Burns Hall

The East-West Center (EWC) will host its annual Holiday Craft Fair on Dec. 3 and 4 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in front of the EWC's John Burns Hall, 1601 East-West Road (corner of Dole Street and East-West Road). Limited parking is available on the lawn next to Burns Hall for $4.00. Items for sale at the fair include Asia-Pacific handicrafts, homemade stationary, hand-crafted jewelry and glassware, koa boxes, Bonsai trees, Kokeshi dolls, ceramics, local snacks and more.
