A new look for Malamalama online

The magazine of the University of Hawai‘i System, Malamalama, has a new online look. The blog format allows readers to comment on stories and subscribe to the RSS feed.

New multimedia features take advantage of the web’s capabilities, like the audio and video on the story about Bamboo Ridge and narrated slideshow on the event listing for The Little Snow Fox.

Malamalama is the university motto and means “the light of knowledge” in Hawaiian. The magazine’s purpose is to enlighten readers about the ways people and programs on 10 UH campuses create and share knowledge with the people of Hawai‘i and the world.
