Nainoa Thompson
In his volunteer capacity as special advisor to the University of Hawai‘i president, Nainoa Thompson provides counsel on matters related to native Hawaiian affairs.
Thompson is a traditionally-trained navigator who helped revive Polynesian voyaging in Hawai‘i. He is a former University of Hawai‘i regent.
