Chancellor, Kauaʻi Community College
Helen Cox
Helen Cox became chancellor of Kauaʻi Community College on Aug. 12, 2008.
She previously served as associate vice president of instruction at Salt Lake Community College, a position she held since 2003. During her more than 25 years in higher education, primarily at Salt Lake Community College, she also served as executive assistant to the president, division chair and faculty member.
Cox received her doctoral degree in English-American studies from the University of Utah, where she also did her master’s work in English-American literature. She holds a bachelor’s in English literature from Harvard University.
